Position Summary The Retail Sales Merchandiser (RSM) is responsible for servicing and selling to an assigned base to ensure that client standards are met and volume is increased. In addition, generates excitement, brand awareness, and increases product sales through event sampling and promotionsEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities Conduct Demo Events Approximately 4-6 hrs. in length; engage the consumer by creating brand awareness and enthusiasm; dynamically and aggressively sell product to consumers; sample product to consumers (may include cooking) Shelf Standards and Conditions Execute direction on the installation and maintenance of shelf signage and product rotation Resets Participate in resets as needed; ability to read a schematic and implement as guided Client Audits Prepare for and respond to audits Promotional Displays Build and maintain according to client and customer direction/guidelines Base Management Build a rapport with clients and customers alike; to include being prepared to field questions and proactively develop plans of action in regards to resolving issues Administration/Reporting Complete accurate and timely recordkeeping including but not limited to reports, recaps, surveys, timekeeping, etc. Demo Event Setup and BreakdownCarry appliances/equipment weighting up to 20 lbs. a distance of 150-300 feet and reaching up to 10 feet; purchase product and supplies (requires lifting up to 50 lbs. and reaching up to 10 feet); assemble table, construct/set-up/display Point of Purchase materials, display product information; cleanup/sanitize area; wash utensils, cookware Sales and Merchandising: Maintain client objectives by ensuring placement of product(s), correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematic.Additional Expectations: Executes verbal and written business communications, in a manner that effectively achieves business objectives, reflects the Company's commitment to integrity, and is in keeping with Company policies (including Code of Business Conduct and Ethics).Delivers work that meets or exceeds management expectations as to quality, quantity, timeliness and attendance.Ensures workflow and processes are followed as needed to achieve business objectives and maximum level of operational efficiencyAdheres to Company Policies and Procedures including but not limited to associate policies found on the Company's intranet site and the Company's Code of Business Conduct and EthicsComplies with applicable lawsPerforms the job safely utilizing proper equipment and safety techniquesAdditional responsibilities as assigned by one's supervisor or other manager related to the position/department
