TheRetail Sales and ServiceSupervisor directs and coordinates the activities of teller staff, aiding theService CenterManager in ensuring theService Centermeets organizational, financial, operations, service and growth plans. In addition, the Retail Sales and Service Supervisor trains and schedules staff and monitors performance. Train new personnel; prepare work schedules to ensure quality service is provided to all members. Ensure tellers have the knowledge and skills to accurately process member transactions, and to maintain an excellent balancing record. There is an opening in our Walla WallaPoplar Member Service Center. Essential job duties include, but are not limited too: Maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet daily department demands. Monitoroperations to ensure secruity procedures are being followed and that appropriate steps aretaken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Review documents prepared by subordinate staff, such as savings bond applications and safe deposit vault entry and exit records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Remove, count and record cash from automated teller machine. Explain services to potential consumer and commercial account customers to generate additional business and to promote positive public relations. Assist subordinate staff in balancing daily transactions; examine,evaluate and process transactions in absence of subordinate staff. Resolve account related concerns with members. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED One (1) to three (3) years of teller experience Supervisory Experience Consistently demonstrate interpersonal skills to relate effectively and professionally to members and colleagues. Experience training, scheduling, and monitoring the daily activities of Tellers desired. Some travel may be required to fulfill duties, career development training, and/or responsibilities.
